INFORMATION:
The Fourth Annual Gallberry Stampede Health and Fitness Challenge will provide participants with the option of a 2K walk/jog, 5K jog/run,10K or 10 mile run on a farm path cross country course next to the new Allison-Sherain Rehab & Wellness Center. The event will take place on Gallberry Farm, once a large dairy operation and now a cotton farm. Cow patties will be at each rest stop, "watch your step", along with water and Gatorade.The course is mostly flat with a few hills.

Registration and Packet Pick-up:
Registration is available by mailing in the attached form which must be received by April 12, 2012. Registration forms are available at www.och-bltc.org (see registraion form at end of page) and available at packet pickup.Registration online is available at www.runtheeast.com
Packet pickup will be available at the OCH-Wellness Center on Friday, April 13 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm and on race day Saturday April 14, 2011 from 7:00am to 8:30am.
Divisions and Awards:
All 2K participants will receive a finishers award at the finish line. The award divisions for the 5K,10K and 10 mile are: Top Three Male and Female Overall, 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.
Gallberry Stampede reserves the right to add/delete categories and awards based on participation.
Rules and Regulations:
As this is a cross country farm path course, only walking or running will be allowed. No dogs are allowed on race course or site.
The race director reservers the right to reject any entry and remove any participant from the race course at his discretion.
Should the event be cancelled for any reason, refunds will not be available but the race packet will be available at packet pickup.
Direction:
The Wellness Center is located adjacent to the Our Community Hospital at 921 Jr. High School Road, Scotland Neck, NC at the western city limits off Highway 125. Look for the blue "H" hospital sign. Parking available on site. (see contact page for map)
